What's really annoying is that surfers, myself included, have been reduced to using popup blockers to stop the insanity. What happens, then, from a programmers point of view is that we can no longer rely on (javascript) techniques for VALID uses of a popup. Essentially this at best complicates and at worst completely removes a huge tool from my toolbox. Check this out...see here...

Want to know whats really annoying??? The "new" popups I see are using Flash...so will we now need to have "Flash blockers"...? That's OK though...I find Flash annoying anyway...
